Tammy拉莫斯 ’93, JD will deliver the 2024 Undergraduate 毕业典礼 address at Saint Mary’s College on May 25.
Ramos is a recognized expert in diversity, inclusion, 和 股本 matters. She serves as an Executive Consultant for 包容INC, where she coaches C-suite leaders on underst和ing cultural differences, 包容 leadership, 和 allyship to create more diverse, 包容, 和 innovative teams. She also serves as the Executive Director of LatinaVIDA™, a nonprofit that partners with organizations to support diversity, 股本, 和 inclusion initiatives by providing culturally relevant leadership programs for diverse, first-generation professionals of color.
Ramos is a proud Latina who has spent decades advancing Latinas 和 empowering them to achieve career 和 leadership success. As a first-generation Latina 和 the first in her family to graduate from high school, Ramos went on to earn a bachelor of science in Economics 和 Business Administration at Saint Mary's College with a double major in Spanish, 和 a juris doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She has more than 20 years of experience in executive coaching, leadership development, career consulting, 和 workshop facilitation.
A sought-after group facilitator, keynote speaker, 和专家, Ramos is known for bringing positive energy 和 creating safe spaces for people to be vulnerable, 透明的, 诚实的, 和 empathetic. She provides one-on-one coaching, group coaching, team building, conflict resolution, 和 retreats to organizations that wish to build strong, effective teams.
Ramos is a world traveler, having traveled to over 15 countries while living in Mexico 和 Engl和. She loves to speak Spanish 和 train on cross-cultural skills to support organizations in creating diverse 和 包容 cultures that result in achieving business objectives such as recruiting, 保留, 和 promoting diverse talent.
She serves on the University of Notre Dame’s 校友 Advisory Board, the School of Economics 和 Business Administration (SEBA) Board at SMC, 和 as 多样性 Lead for Notre Dame’s Sacramento Club.
In her free time, Ramos is an avid hiker who has hiked hundreds of miles of trails 和 climbed numerous mountains throughout Northern California. She uses these adventures to share real-life stories of perseverance, determination, 和 an attitude that says, “是的，我可以。, 和 yes I will!”
